I'm off this week so I decided to take on the repainting of my place. I've been wanting to do this for a couple of years now but I told myself to wait at five years before doing so and it will have been five years this summer since I moved in. After living in colour for years, I've been thinking of going white, probably influenced by designer Sarah Richardson but I'm taking my inspiration from Colin and Justin, the two bitchy Scottish queens who also do white but with hits of very strong colour. The bright orange, inspired by the Easy Hotel I stayed in London, will go behind my couch. The green will be the accent wall behind my bed. Not sure about it though, I know it's supposed to get darker as it dries but I'm not convinced. It's supposed to be Herbal Gardens looks like the first colour on the card.

Je suis en congé cette semaine et j'ai décidé de repeindre mon condo. Cela fait en fait quelques années que je voulais le faire mais je me suis convaicu d'attendre au moins le 5e anniversaire de mon déménagement et ce sera le cas cet été. après avoir vécu en couleur j'ai choisi de pendre mes murs en blancs, sans doute influencée par la designer Sarah Richardson mais en fait mon inspiration vient de Coling et Justin, les deux écossais, vache sur les bords, qui font aussi dans le blanc mais avec des accents toniques assez corsés. L'orange, inspiré par le Easy Hotel où j'ai resté lorsque j'étais à Londres, ira derrière mon fauteuil dans le salon. Le vert ira derrière mon lit. Par contre je ne suis pas certaine de la teinte, je sais que la peinture devient plus foncée en sechant mais je n'en suis pas très convaincue dans ce cas-ci. C'est supposé être Herbal Gardens mais on dirait plutôt la première couleur sur la carte.
