Kimono top/Blouse kimono

La voilà enfin ma blouse kimono. Je voulais commencer d'autres projets de couture mais je tenais à finir celui-ci et j'en suis assez fier que je laisse mon visage apparaître sur la photo. L'assemblage a été compliqué par le fait que j'assemblais des pièces contrastantes, il fallait constamment changer soit le fil du dessus soit la bobine ou les deux. Un chose par contre, j'ai ramené la ligne d'épaule trop à l'avant mais je crois que seule une couturière très pointilleuse remarquera ce détail. Du moins je l'espère... Mis à part le fait que je ne pourrai manger un gros steak frite avec une entrée de champignons fourrés au fromage de chèvre et crabe, ça ne me dérange pas trop. Maintenant je devrai vraiment faire le ménage dans ma garde-robe et faire dont de tonnes de trucs car il commence sérieusement à manquer de place...

Finally, my finished kimono top. I wanted to start on other sewing project but I wanted to finish this project first. I like it enough to show my face in the picture. The assembly was complicated by the fact that I had contrasting pieces coming together and I had to constantly change the threads. My only gripe about it is the shoulder line, I mistakenly over compensated by bringing the shoulder's line forward too much but I think only a hardcore seamstress will actually notice. I hope. I wont be able have a large steak with fries and a mushrooms topped with goat cheese and crab appetizer while wearing this top, I don't really mind too much. Now I really have to do a real clean up of my wardrobe and give away tons of stuff because I'm running out of closet space...
