Toilet pouch 1.5/Pochette de toilette 1.5

Revoilà la poche de voyage que j'ai refait hier soir. Il s'agit évidemment de celui qui se retrouve en dessous, celui du dessus étant évidemment celui que j'ai fait plus tôt cette semaine. Les deux poches étant entoilées, ont peut donc en admirer la différence: celui du dessus avec un entoilage non tissé, thermocollant et léger, celui du dessous étant non tissé, non thermocollant et très épais. Il a été aussi un peu plus long à faire car j'ai fait un patron pour m'assurer que la coupe soit aussi parfaite que possible. J'ai bati le tissu, l'entoilage et la doublure ensemble avant de passer tout ça à la surjetteuse (overlock). La poche étant plus épaisse j'ai du utiliser une aiguille à denim pour assembler les côtés... après avoir cassé ma dernière aiguille pour tissus normal. La version 1.0 étant si flexible, il sera idéal comme poche de voyage.

Here is the toilet pouch that I redid last night. Of course it the self supporting one on the bottom, the other one being the one I showed off earlier this week. This is a demonstation of what different interfacings can do, the one top has a non woven, fusible light one whereas the the pouch on the bottom also has a non woven stabilizer that is non fusible and is heavyweight. It took a bit longer to do this time because I made a pattern to make sure that the pieces are precisely cut, then I basted the fabric, liner and interfacing together before overlocking the edges. The bag having much thicker layers when folded up, I had to use a denim needle to sew the sides together... after breaking my last regular sized one. Anyway I will not toss the 1.0 version, being easily foldable makes it ideal as a travel pouch.
