Live blogging/Billet en direct

4:57 pm: I should have checked the weather before posting yesterday, I would have stared on my mitts instead of blogging. So, I'm putting the socks away for tonight to work on the thrum mittens. I would have liked to take my time them but the deep freeze is here for a while, I don't have a choice but to work double time. I'll update this post every hour or so for a progress update.

6:10 I was so sure that I needed 4.5 mm needles but actually it required 3.5 mm. So, the mitts will be done on straights. As for the roving, am having some issues...

7:22 pm: Thank God for Google and Craftster...
20h15: Humm, 4 rangées en une heure. a.: d'aucune façon que ce soit terminerai-je les mitaines ce soir b. d'aucune façon que ce soit que je filerai la laine.
8:15 pm: Random musings after 4 rows in one hour: a. no way will these mitts be done tonight b. no way will I ever take up spinning.
Grey's watch:
8:49 pm: Nearly spilled a tear watching Grey's
8:51 pm: Oh I saw that coming
8:54 pm: What?!!??
8:51 30 seconds: What!!!???!!

10:21 pm: Bed time. I've barely had time to mark the beginning of the thumb gusset. I should have taken this picture with each mitt on a separate needle but you wouldn't see much more anyway. I was told by "someone" to split the roving in two in order to have enough for both mitts, I simply cut it in half but instead I should have separated in two lengthwise, I wouldn't have a mismatching pair. I had hoped to be done tonight but they'll most likely be done tomorrow.
