A new skirt/Une nouvelle jupe

I was on my way home on Friday when I saw a girl wearing a denim (possibly chambray) skirt, a longer version of those two-tiered and gathered skirts that the kids have been wearing for a couple of summers. I'd never wear those but I like the version she was wearing, it reached the knees and it had a denim ribbon sewn ran along the hips. So I went to the notions store and got a ribbon and zipper, I have some denim fabric in my stash. I figure I may as well make a 1 dart skirt template. It will be useful since I won't have to drape the pattern everytime I want to make a skirt. Step 1: make a sloper for the skirt.

Je rentrais à la maison vendredi lorsque j'ai vu une fille qui portait une jupe en denim ou chambray à deux étages. Ce que j'aimais c'était le fait que contrairement à cet jupes que les jeunes portes ces temps-ci, celle-ci allait jusqu'au genou en plus d'avoir un joli ruban qui suivait la ligne des hanches. J'ai donc été faire un tour à la mercerie y chercher un joli un rubban ainsi qu'un fermoir, il me reste du tissu dans ma cachette. J'en profite donc pour me faire un gabarit de jupe à une pince. Il me sera utile pour faire d'autres jupes sans être obligée de mouler une jupe à chaque fois que je faire un nouveau patron. Étape 1: mouler la jupe.
