The Roots

Hier soir ma soeur et moi sommes allé voir le spectacle de The Roots au Metropolis. C'est là troisième fois que j'y vais vois un spectacle musicaler et comme d'habitude, ça a été excellent. Le show était bien rodé, la chimie entre les musiciens excellent et Black Thought, le MC est spectaculaire dans sa prestation. Je me demande comment font ses cordes vocales pour survive à un tel exercice. Un bon moment. En première partie, Down with Webster, un collectif de Toronto. Pensez à Linking Park pour le style musical. Eux aussi on donné un excellent. Par contre un de leur membre semblait soit avoir un sérieux trac, soit "sous influence". Last night my sis and I checked out The Roots at the Metropolis. It's the third time I go there to see a show and as usual, a great experience. It was well oiled, the musicians were great and Black Thought was simply spectacular in his delivery. How does his vocal cords survive such performance? The opening act: Down with Webster, a collective from Toronto. Think Linkin Park in the musical style. They too gave a great performace though I have to say that one of their members seems to either have a serious case of the jitters or was under the influence. Anyway, the rest of my pics are here.
