Well, I got tagged by the fabuleuse Caroline and nearly forgot about it and so here goes:
The rules: Go to Wikipedia and type in your birthday month and day only. Then post 3 events, 2 births and one holiday that occurred on your birthday, then tag 5 friends.

1787 - Captain Arthur Phillip leaves Portsmouth, England with eleven ships full of convicts (First Fleet) to establish a penal colony in Australia.
1940 - Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands flees the Nazi invasion in the Netherlands to Britain. Princess Juliana takes her children to Canada for their safety.
1981 - Mehmet Ali Ağca attempts to assassinate Pope John Paul II in St. Peter's Square in Rome. The Pope was rushed to the Agostino Gemelli University Polyclinic to undergo emergency surgery, and managed to survive.
Births:
1883 - Georgios Papanikolaou, Greek doctor, inventor of the Pap smear
1950 - Stevie Wonder, American singer and musician
Holiday:
Roman Empire - Feast of the Lemures (Festival during which they exorcised the dead. Since the Month of May was deemed unlucky, that is why people generally get married in June nowadays).

La chère Caroline me demande de participer a un jeu où il faut aller sur Wikipedia, taper sa date de naissance dans le moteur de recherche et afficher trois évènement qui se s'y sont déroulés, deux anniversaires ainsi qu'un fête. Bizarrement les réponses diffèrent quelque peu en français et c'est pourquoi j'en fait une version en français.

1940 : le premier ministre britannique Winston Churchill fait son discours sur « sang, larmes, labeur et sueur » au parlement britannique.
2000 : À Enschede, dans l'est des Pays-Bas, l'explosion d'un dépôt de feux d'artifice rase tout un quartier et fait 17 morts, 10 disparus et 946 blessés.

1907 : Daphne du Maurier, romancière britannique
1964 : Stephen Colbert, humoriste et animateur américain

Il semblerait qu'il ne se passe rien dans le monde le 13 mai...
En tant normal je devrais nommer 5 personnes qui devrait faire ce jeu à leur tour mais je ne le ferai. Si ça vous tente, amusez-vous...
